One week ago I asked if anyone knew of a Heroes of the Storm Podcast which was focused in on the Australian and New Zealand scene to see if there was something I could listen to which felt a little bit closer to home.
Sadly, no-one knew of anything, but after expressing interest in creating something, I have now found myself putting the final touches on our very first episode of Heroes Untapped, set to broadcast live on my Twitch channel later this evening!
EDIT: Episode One is now live! You can listen to it here.
The last 7 days have been a awesome ride and am I so excited to bring together the Australian and New Zealand Heroes of the Storm community by discussing news, esports and changes, as well as looking at ways to improve individual game play and understanding of the game. Best of all, we’re even going to highlight a vast array of community members, from big names in the ANZ eSports scene (the focus of this week’s episode) to streamers and Youtubers and everyone in between.
This week we are lucky enough to have Skimmy, team captain of Exile5 and Shy from Team Immunity joining us on the show, so you can expect to hear a lot of insight into what it takes to be a part of a professoinal esports outfit, as well as some top tips on how to improve your own game.
Of course this wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for my co-host, Happyrage, Exile5’s Heroes of the Storm division manager, a key member in putting together the ANZ Road to Blizzcon qualifiers and all round great guy.
It should be a fantastic first episode and I can’t wait to hear what you all think!
Once done, the Podcast will be downloadable from this very blog, as well as being available on Youtube, Stitcher Radio and iTunes (Links will be included in the Episode One post).
Since this is a community show, I strongly encourage you to please leave a comment and feedback after the show. If Episode 1 sucks, then tell me so I can make episode 2, 3, 4 even stronger!
