When asked if he would be attending their ‘Hump and Grind’ event, Josh shocked them with an unexpected response — one that any World of Warcraft player past and present will definitely get a laugh out of!

I have been doing a lot of game touring as of late as I looked for something to tie me over until the release of Warlords of Draenor. Even then between my tour dates I have been experimenting with other classes in WoW to decide what I was going to play (or boost to 90). I have had a lot of fun during this time and enjoyed everything I tried but none of them felt like the one. No new game or WoW class really captured my attention long enough for me to commit to it.
During most of the development of WildStar I didn’t really care too much for the game. After hearing about all the things the developers wanted to bring into the game – things that I had hated in Vanilla WoW — I thought, ‘Nope, I’m definitely going to give this game a miss’. However, WildStar is set in the best setting… SPACE (Well it is Sci-Fi) and reading up about the active combat with projection eventually convinced me to give it a try after all. World of Warcraft is one of those games I have been playing since what seems like forever. I have stopped more world disasters then I can count, laid waste to almost all of the end game villans while the content was current and have had to replace my end-game epics with blues and greens on more than one occasion. I am there at the start of expansion after expansion, eager to see what the next chapter of WoW has to offer. So what is it about World of Warcraft that has me continually returning, even after almost a decade of playing? Continue reading Three Reasons Why I Keep Coming Back To WoW→
In between trying to balance my time between work, family, my new found love of sport, as well as games like WildStar and World of Warcraft, I’ve found that there are titles out there that I would love to play, but ultimately have been dropped from my actively playing list. Here are the top four MMO’s I almost play, but don’t have the time for: Continue reading Four MMO’s I Wish I Had More Time To Play→
Until February the 14th Marvel Heroes will be celebrating the Lunar New Year by rewarding plays who log every 24 hours with a Red Envelope. This little envelope, when opened, could reveal some really cool items like eight Eternity Splinters, or some really lame items like a Lunar lantern — AKA 888 credits worth of vendor trash.
So with the fun and all of the Lunar Festival I felt that would be interesting to keep track of my rewards. Will the Marvel Gods bestow riches and fame upon me, or will I be feel the beat down of misfortune?
The amount of free-to-play (Referred to as F2P from here on in) games available is exploding at the moment and when I look at my current list of games which I consider myself to be actively playing, I noticed that four of them are in fact F2P games. This has me wondering is how ‘free’ to play are these games really? I realise these games are designed to make a profit for the company, but have they taken that F2P model too far? Would I have been better off actually paying for a full game?
There have been some huge changes for my little Elemental Shaman. No longer do I sport the well fitting Turtle of doom tabard, I am now a pack member of the Frostwolves. Not only have my threads changed in colour and pattern, but now my earthly powers are more of a blessed nature. I am now a Holy Paladin of the Blood Elves! However there is still more, I have also switched servers! 3 big changes all at once, I wouldn’t be lying if I said I am a little scared for what the future might hold for me.
